Heathrow airport has two Underground stations - one shared by Terminals 1,2 and 3, the other at Terminal 4. Both provide regular train services on London Underground's Piccadilly Line into Central London. Trains run every 5-9 minutes, approximately between the hours of 05:00 and 23:30. The average journey time is 45-65 minutes depending on destination. The one-way fare to Zone 1 (the central zone) is £3.80. If you arrive after 09:30 a One Day Travelcard costs £5.20 and gives unlimited travel on London Underground tubes and buses. Ticket machines at the stations accept UK coins and most give change. Some accept UK notes (bills).

By Taxi

Each Heathrow terminal has clearly signposted taxi ranks. Expect a fare of around £40-£55. Journey time 45-70 minutes. To avoid the inevitable queues for taxis, you can book your taxi in advance through Black Cab London. No waiting charges are incurred as all flights are monitored by the reservation staff. By Train

The fastest rail link into Central London from Heathrow airport is the Heathrow Express which provides a regular train service to London's Paddington station. Trains leave every 15 minutes from approximately 05:00 until 23:40. Journey times are 15 minutes from Heathrow Central (Terminals 1,2,3) and 23 minutes from Terminal 4. The one-way fare is £13. First Class £25.00 (Tickets can be booked by phone, online or bought at self-service booths at the stations.) Children under the age of 5 travel for free, when accompanied by an adult. Maximum four children per adult.

Follow signs for M4 motorway and Central London. The journey time by car from Heathrow to Central London is around 50-75 minutes.
